Hang in there while we get back on track
Turns out systemd's dbus daemon doesn't like talking much to dynamic users! Kept seeing EPIPE after the AUTH EXTERNAL/OK blah/NEGOTIATE_UNIX_FD/AGREE_UNIX_FD/BEGIN dance --- after stracing dbus-daemon, discovered it was looking in `/run/systemd/userdb` and other things, seemingly looking for the identity of the caller, and seemingly not able to do anything with `/run/systemd/userdb/io.systemd.DynamicUser`.
